Welcome and thank you for visiting the project website for the Crowell Road Intersection Improvement Project. The goal of this project is to enhance safety and mobility for all modes of travel, while maintaining, and where possible, improving access for abutting businesses at the intersection of Crowell Road and Main Street (Route 28) in Chatham.

The project team invites you to browse the site, learn more about the project, review the materials developed to support the public involvement process, and contact the project's public involvement specialist with your questions, comments or concerns.

A public information meeting regarding the proposed design will be held starting at 4:00PM on Monday, October 16th, in the large meeting room of the Town Hall Annex at 261 George Ryder Road. For more information, please see our meeting notice.

The minutes of the Auugust 15, 2017 Board of Selectmen's meeting are now posted on the project website’s documents page.  Likewise, available on the the project documents page are enhanced images of of Alternative 2 – Roundabout and Alternative and Alternative 3 - New Signal.

Please be advised that the comment period stipulated by the Board of Selectmen during their August 15, 2017 meeting has been extended to Friday, October 20th, at close of business to ensure that the 60 day comment period would not end on a Sunday.
